The final year of project TAO started off dynamically with a kick-off meeting in Bern and the planning of the project’s next steps.
Our work in the coming months will focus on one of TAO’s main objectives “Creating Benefits for Older Adults and Society”. Everyone involved in TAO wants to create a real lasting effect beyond the official end of the project. For example, can SeniorWeb NL’s (Netherlands) tips for success be transferred to Switzerland? Will it be possible to put our research findings into practice? Can we form a long run strategy to make the developed best practice available to our target audience?
Despite changes in personnel in various subprojects and a review of its strategy by Seniorweb CH, there is a tangible will to keep TAO’s momentum going through its final year.
With the appointment of Thomas Gehrig as TAO’s project coordinator for the final year, we have gained an experienced communication specialist who will also raise TAO’s public profile.
A TAO workshop on the 15th May in Ulm, Germany and another on the 21st May in Maastricht, Netherlands are two important steps towards making this lasting effect a reality.
